Stella M. Paul

 

Kappa- Stella M. Paul, 101, of Kappa, IL passed away at 5:55 p.m. on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at Pekin Hospital.

 Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Ruestman_Harris Funeral Home in El Paso. Pastor David Craig will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Tuesday. Burial will be in Kappa Cemetery.

 Memorial contributions may be made to the Grace Fellowship Church in El Paso. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.ruestmanharrisfuneralhome.com.

 She was born on September 7, 1910 in Hudson Township, IL a daughter of William and Clara Hospelhorn Farrell. She married Leo C. Paul on August 14, 1938 in El Paso. He passed away on November 24, 1998.

 Survivors include one daughter, Dixie L. DeHart of Pekin, IL; two granddaughters, Shelly(Jason) Shallenberger of Morton, IL; Julie DeHart of Evanston; one great grandson, Carter Owen Shallenberger; two sisters, Alice Hinthorne of Eureka, IL; Ruth Meiers of Normal, IL; several nieces and nephews.

 She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, three brothers.

 Stella was a bookkeeper at electronics company in Sterling, IL. She also was a secretary at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, IL where she retired in 1974.

 Stella was a member of Grace Fellowship Church in El Paso, past matron of Eastern Star #147 of El Paso and she also served in many school activities with the children.

 Stella loved her family and will be greatly missed by her family.
