Charles David Kimble

Henry-

Charles David Kimble, 55, of Henry passed away at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday May 5, 2012 at his home.  He was born on September 20, 1956 in Peoria to Charles A. and Bernadette (Lindley) Kimble.  He married DeGala Hird on August 25, 1979 in Herington, KS; she survives.

He is also survived by his mother, Bernedette, of Chillicothe; one son, Jared M. Kimble; siblings Rosemary (Donald) Griswold, of Sparland, Evelyn Mohr, of Chillicothe, Linda Hofstatter, of Lowpoint, Jerry (Pam) Kimble, of Sparland, Lyman Kimble, of Chillicothe, and Brian Kimble, of Henry.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles; one brother, Emery Kimble, and two sons, Jeremy David Kimble and Joshua Lawrence Kimble. 

Charlie was a Bridgetender at the 407 bridge in Joliet and worked for the CSX Railroad and as a farmer.  He was also a member of the Henry Masonic Lodge # 119.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday May 10, 2012 at Lenz Memorial Home in Lacon.  Burial will follow the services at the LaPrairie Methodist Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Wednesday May 9, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. where Masonic Rites will be conferred,  also at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.  Online condolences may be expressed at www.lenzmemorialhome.com.
